Book this tour!

As history junkies, my husband and I have booked many private tours in our travels and Eamon ranks at the top of our list! This three hour walking tour was a fascinating and trivia packed travel back to the earlier days of the famine, the beginning of the uprising, revolution, and struggle for Irish independence. Best experience of our two week stay in Ireland!

Long walk and don’t get see Gaol

Derrick was a very informed guide on the Easter Rising of 1916. This is a private tour and supposed to cater to the group needs but we didn’t get to go to Kilmarnin Gaol or the cemetary as was advertised. Derrick said the itinerary was changed. We spent way too much time walking around the city for 3 hours and 4.5 miles just too look at plaques and statues. Maybe cut the time for this to be shorter and include going into a museum or go to the Gaol.
